FIVE months

151 days!

that's how old my boy is today.

hard to believe.

he gets more fun every day,

if that's possible.

the laughing, talking, screaming,

ok so the screaming isn't so fun.

but he's definately discovered his voice

and screams so loud he scares himself!

i don't have any official stats on P since we don't have a 5month

well baby appointment and don't own a scale.

but he has almost outgrown his 0-3 month clothes.

score!

time for a new wardrobe.

i wish i still grew that much and could get a whole new wardrobe

every couple months.

how sweet would that be!

i don't think dee would go for it.

anywhoo!

screw you cereal

i'm pretty sure that's what sweet p is saying in his head

as i shove it in his mouth every evening.

so we're moving on!

hello sweet potatoes.

as i said before i am attempting to make p's food.

i pureed some sweet spuds.

pretty darn easy

if i do say so myself.

but i must confess,

they were the first 2 sweet potatoes i've ever purchased

in my life.

and to this day i have never eaten one.

my mom hates them so i hate them.

that's how it works, folks!

kinda like tea, and meat loaf, and pork chops

(E knows what i'm talkin' about)

well turns out he hates them slightly less

than he does the rice cereal.

kinda like i'm feeding him garbage and not poison.

thinking about it...

now that is a face of enjoyment.

delish!

peas are next week.

i'm afraid

parker-man may slightly be vertically challenged.

like his parents.

he's finally gottan strong enough

to hold his huge head up

that we've been able to finally use one of his christmas presents.

his excersaucer!

he loves it!

except....

his feet don't quite reach.



since the day he was born,

uncle david has been telling him he has short legs.

i think he may be right.

your feet will reach someday buddy.

some day....

what is cuter

than a baby in suspenders!

well fake ones but still!

they're helping hold up those fleece pants mighty fine.

he wore this outfit to church last weekend

and i just had to get some pics before he outgrows it.

the kid is so beyond ticklish,

that i can't help but tickle him 24 hours a day.

some may call it torture,

but i just can't help it!

if only you could hear the belly laugh in this photo.

2 weeks ago

parker got to go to urgent care for the first time.

whoo hoo!

he also was sick for the first time.

whoo hoo!

and not with just anything.

he started out with a bang and got

RSV!!

why not a minor ear infection?

we do things BIG around our house.

i must say we first time parents handled it pretty well.

partly thanks to my hubby's rose covered glasses,

always thinking the best.

but as for me,

 working in health care can good and bad.

i always jump to the worse possible scenario.

thankfully he only caught a 'mild' case of it.

we had to do breathing treatments every 4 hours

for a couple days.

sleepy mommy....

family breathing time

2 weeks with a cough

and that was it!

i'm pretty sure i gave him my kick-A immune system.
