baby jesus was born

christmas morning we stayed home
just the three of us
so parker could open his presents from us santa
and just enjoy being a family of three.
as you can see in the photos
we look rough in the am,
but this was by far my favorite part of the whole weekend.
we made the wonderful decision
of putting together his big toys beforehand,
so he could actually play with them xmas morning
and not unwrap a big box with no clue what it is.
d and i also didn't want to spend the whole day
cutting things out of boxes
and are so ridiculously secured
that i'm certain they're made by satan himself.
after we all showered and looked presentable
we went to d's grandmas for her infamous ham.
danny looks forward to this ham for 364 days.
i unfortunately got no pictures.
it was difficult to keep parker contained in her house
with all the other family there.
surprisingly we got to spend some time outside
on her porch because it was 55 degrees!
