a day in the life...

i always like when people do posts
about a day in their life.
it's like you can legally be nosy
and see how other people go about their day.
so i decided to document a day in the life
of parker and i.
i get one day off a week because i work 4 ten hr days.

i didn't decide to do this until after i got him outta bed
and fed him breakfast
which i'm sure he did eat.
but after that i usually let him watch ONE episode
of this show that has taken over our lives.
bubble guppies.
he spends his days looking for the remote
and bringing it to us saying, "bubble, bubble"
and we spend our day trying to distract him from the tv.

and we get this face when the shows over
and i tell him no more tv:
 so we play with thomas
and then put him away
on to some book reading
time for a mid-morning snack of
teddy grahams
on to laundry
favorite task of the day!
i finally give in and let him watch
ONE more episode of the creepy little mermaids
before nap time
side note:
i took some pic of his crazy hair
which hasn't changed since birth.
still has 2 cowlicks
the right grows toward the left
and the left grows toward the right.
it's so straight the only way to keep it under control
because it sticks STRAIGHT out in all directions
no matter how much we try to mat it down
is to keep it really short.
back to our day.
after nap we do some playing in the ball pit
and then we had dinner
no pics.
except for his first taste of choc striped cookies.
when i say he doesn't eat,
he doesn't even eat junk food either.
finally convinced him to try these.
and pretty sure they were a hit.

bath,
sleep,
repeat.

Sarah, I get the biggest kick out of your blog. I love to watch Parker grow up and I really love to read how you write. It ALWAYS puts a smile on my face. You are one good momma!

That TV addiction starts early, huh? So glad it's not just my kid!!! Although with E it's always "Dorg" (Curious George) or Cars. I think I have seen that darn Cars movie a thousand times. I just told Mike today that I think I could quote the entire movie!
